Shrub to about 1m in 10 years; grows slight wider than tall

Flowers: Large rounded trusses of 14-17 broadly funnel-shaped flowers, with 5 slightly wavy-edged lobes; 40-45mm long x 60-75mm wide, deep purplish pink on lobe margins and outside, inside otherwise white with dorsal lobe spotted red at first

Late May - June

Not scented

Foliage: Elepidote. Leaves are elliptic 110-130mm long x 40-48mm wide, margins recurved, mid green above, mature leaves with a thin greyish white indumentum below.

Other information: Registered by G Stück in 1989. Sometimes sold by its synonym ‘Marlis’. Prefers dappled shade. Commercially available
