Flowers: Trusses of 17-24 strong purplish red to deep purplish pink, 5 lobed flowers, fading to nearly white in the throat, marked deep to strong red; flowers are 40-50mm long x 60-70mm wide

Foliage: Elepidote. Leaves are elliptic 120-135mm long x 46-49mm wide dark green and fairly glossy above; new growth has a silvery white felt-like indumentum
